Around the World Top Transfer Stops
Updated: Sep 22, 2020
In the book "Around the World in 80 Days" written by Jules Verne, the main character named Phileas Fogg and his servant, Jean Passpartout, make a bet to travel around the world in 80 days using modern transportation. They end up stopping in all kinds of cities to make different travel transfers. If I was doing their challenge, these are the 3 places I would want to make sure I was making a transfer stop in.
Who doesn't want to go to the North Pole? Take away the freezing temperatures and you'd have a winter wonderland! I would love to "sea" the glaciers, polar bears, and the jaw dropping northern lights.
If I end up not liking the cold, why not try a transfer in Egypt! The Great Sphinx of Giza is the second place I would go to take in the details and size of the giant sculpture up close.
A trip to Paris to visit the Norte Dame Cathedral would be the last stop on my 80 day bucket list. The reasons why I would go to this cathedral would be to look close up at the beautiful stained glass Rose Windows, the carved architecture, and to hear the enormous bells toll.
Although it might be nice to visit these places, it's true what they say, "There's no place like home." ... I would definitely be relieved when my 80 day trip was over.
Please write where you would like to go in the world in the comments.
