The book we're going to focus on in this little blog is "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". This book is great for people who love adventures and can tell 'port' from 'starboard'.
The main character, Pierre Aronnax, had just finished a scientific adventure when he was grouped with some sailors to find a legendary creature measuring a mile wide and three miles long. When they found the creature, it attacked and knocked Pierre, his servant named Consil, and another sailor named Ned Land overboard. Though this looks like the end of the book, it is just the beginning...
I would give "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" 4 out of 5 stars because the never ending adventures were unexpected and very entertaining to read, but overall it wasn't perfect in my eyes. For me, it was a bit dry in parts and I would have liked the sea creatures to have been more realistic. In spite of its flaws, I enjoyed the read and I think other bookworms would too.
